We have an opening for a challenging 2-year postdoc position: studying and leveraging exciton resonances in monolayer 2D semiconductors to realize actively-tunable 2D metasurfaces! Find the full project description on the UvA website.

In our recent paper in Nature Nanotechnology, we leverage the non-local behaviour of guided mode resonances to demonstrate a new metasurface that is fully transparent in the visible spectral range while redirecting near-infrared photons for optical eye-tracking.
